Our advice for estate cleanouts: Go with the 21-yard. Estate cleanouts almost always generate more volume than expected once you open closets, attics, and garages. The $100 difference is far less than arranging a second haul mid-project. If you end up not filling it, you still pay the same flat rate — no penalty for empty space.

Tips for Getting Through an Estate Cleanout
After 10 years and thousands of cleanout-related deliveries in DFW, here's what we've seen work well:
- Sort before you start. Separate donations (Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Goodwill) from trash. Less goes in the dumpster, more goes to people who need it.
- Start with the big furniture. Get the bulky items in first while there's room to maneuver. Fill around them with smaller items.
- Don't forget attics and storage units. These often hold more than expected. Budget your dumpster space accordingly.
- Plan your loading week. A 5-day rental window lets you work through the home methodically. Day 1: main floor. Day 2: upstairs. Day 3: garage. Days 4–5: final sweep and donation drop-off.
- Call early for same-day delivery. If your estate sale runs longer than expected and you need a dumpster fast, call before 10am.
